Sensational Podium Finish for Hayato Matsuzaki and NOSRAM at the 1/10 TC Worlds!
Relying on the amazing performance of his NOSRAM power package, Hayato caught up from qualifying position 10 to the overall 2nd place on the podium!
The IFMAR 1/10 Touring Car World Championship 2010 in Burgdorf, Germany was a huge success for NOSRAM driver Hayato Matsuzaki. Among the 111 starters was the complete worldwide elite of 1/10 TC racing: the defending World Champion Marc Rheinard (GER), Vice World Champion Ronald Völker (GER), former World Champions Atsushi Hara (J) and Andy Moore (UK), European top drivers Alex Hagberg (SWE), Jilles Groskamp (NL), Elliot Harper (UK) and Viktor Wilck (SWE), US star Paul Lemieux, and many more.
In this high-class starter field it was a hard fight for Hayato Matsuzaki to secure qualification for the A-main. Powered by the incredible resources and reliability of the NOSRAM Pure Evolution 5.0T motor and the all new NOSRAM Pearl Evolution ISTC version 2 speed control – premiering at this event – Hayato showed an amazing driving performance and started to catch up step by step from his 10th place: 7th in run 1, 2nd in run 2 and 3rd in run 3. In the end Hayato Matsuzaki sensationally finished on the overall 2nd position at the IFMAR 1/10 Touring Car World Championship. Only the old and new World Champion was a little stronger in the end.
