Grant Williams and NOSRAM TQ 2wd - 4wd BRCA Nats!
NOSRAM driver Grant Williams impressed everybody at the 3rd round of the BRCA 1/10th electric offroad series.
With hot and sunny weather, it was time for the 2wd and 4wd BRCA electric offroad series to hit the Eden Park Raceway. All of UK´s best electric offroad drivers were in attandence. Drivers such as Ellis Stafford, Lee Martin, Tom Cockerill, Elliot Boots, Simon Moss, Richard Lowe and Grant Williams all came to fight for the important BRCA championship points and national win.
On the large and challenging Eden Park Raceway, which consists mostly of Astroturf, only with one banked tarmac corner at the end of the main straight and a concrete chicane in the middle of the track, it was NOSRAM driver Grant Williams who dominated the qualifying in both the 2wd and 4wd.
Powered by NOSRAM´s PURE Evolution modified brushless motors, Pearl Evolution ISTC speed control and LiPo 5900 - 50C "X-treme Race Pack" in both his offroad cars, Grant impressed on everybody and stormed to TQ in both classes with clear margin.
In the finals TQ driver Grant Williams got caught by badluck, and despite winning 1 final in each of the 2wd and 4wd finals, Grant Williams had to settle for 2nd position on the podium in both classes.
